A letter from Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer

September 1, 2023

As Mayor of the City of Orlando, I am proud to welcome you to Central Florida for the NCQA
Health Innovation Summit. I am thrilled that the Summit is being held here in our region.
I commend the NCQA for convening more than 1,600 health care leaders, industry innovators and
policy makers for three days of learning, sharing and connecting to improve health care quality
and equity nationally. Here in Orlando, we are working together to create a more inclusive,
equitable community where every resident – regardless of their background – is valued and has
access to opportunities that can help them thrive. I appreciate NCQA’s commitment to advocating
for greater equity and inclusion in healthcare and in society as a whole and I am grateful for your
support of their efforts.

I invite you to explore our community during your time here for the Summit. Orlando is vibrant,
welcoming and has so much to offer. You probably know about our world-class theme parks and
attractions, where imagination becomes reality. You may not know that our city is also filled with
authentic experiences. I am proud of Orlando’s always growing and diverse food scene, arts and
cultural offerings, sports events and thriving small business districts that are located throughout
our community.

In Orlando, there’s something for everyone, giving you endless possibilities to create meaningful
experiences and memories during your time here.

I hope you have a rewarding Summit and also find time to enjoy some of the many experiences
that help make Orlando unbelievably real.

Sincerely,

Buddy Dyer
Mayor
