Stephanie McHugh, RN, MPH, is an experienced Clinical Manger with the Performance Measurement and Improvement Team at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. As part of the clinical support team, she is focused on quality and equity in provider clinical performance. Stephanie also works with provider organizations participating in BCBSMA value based AQC contracts, maintaining critical collaborative relationships while supporting high quality and equitable care delivery for BCBSMA members. Recent work in Health Equity includes supporting BCBSMA AQC provider organizations, both large and small, as they learn to understand their data, the populations the data represents, the inequities that are identified, and the potential solutions for overcoming the drivers of those inequities. Stephanie’s diverse clinical background includes maternal child health, community health, and utilization and quality management. She also has numerous years of experience as an Accreditation Consultant working with ambulatory care centers pursuing and maintaining JCAHO accreditation.
