Oluseyi Aliu, MD MS, is a reconstructive microsurgeon and health services researcher. He is currently Medical Director for Health Services and Outcomes Research in the Allegheny Health Network Singer Institute, the research arm of Highmark Health/Allegheny Health Network. His primary task in this role is to coordinate the use of all data generated within the blended (payer-provider) enterprise to provide insights to guide system wide priority initiatives including transition to Value-Based Medicine, adoption of alternative payment models, and addressing Health Related Social Needs of the beneficiary population.
Dr. Aliu holds an MD degree from the Baylor College of Medicine and a Master’s degree in Health and Healthcare Research from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency training at the University of Michigan Hospital and reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at the Albany Medical Center. He is currently faculty at the Allegheny General Hospital teaching and training medical students and residents from Drexel University College of Medicine and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
