This session will explore the role of health plans – as leaders in driving healthcare quality – in supporting and implementing antibiotic stewardship efforts within outpatient healthcare practices. Speakers will detail health plan-led outpatient stewardship approaches and describe two examples where healthcare stakeholders leveraged Medicaid data to improve prescribing in their states.
