Advancing health equity has become a crucial strategic priority in health care, as demonstrated by initiatives like the CMS Health Equity Index for MA plans. In this session, learn how the HEI will be calculated; how MA plans can start now to identify disparities in populations with social risks; and best practices to address systemic inequities in care delivery. 

Panelists will share their unique expertise, perspectives and innovative ways organizations are collaborating to advance health equity. Attendees will also learn new techniques to uncover “hidden” disparities, such as between vs. within group disparities, and how health care equity differs from societal and structural equity.
