Quality EDGE (Evaluating Data to Generate Excellence) is a systematic process using teamwork and collaboration to identify priority measures, create and maintain a best-practices playbook, work with providers to determine their level of readiness to change processes and improve outcomes, implement change and monitor action plans and outcomes.
Interventions typical to Quality EDGE include funding provider call campaigns; providing equipment, supplies or materials; providing health education; funding marketing campaigns; training office staff; funding after-hours office visits; upgrading EHR systems; providing member incentives directly to provider offices; and organizing mobile mammography sessions. In 2022, over 200 Quality EDGE interventions were funded. Full outcomes are pending program completion.
